We offer the following free services through Arkansas Rural Health Partnership Patient Program Counselors (PCCs) and other healthcare workers. PCCs are trained and certified to work in ARHP hospitals, rural health clinics and community health centers, and will also travel to various sites to provide these programs across the nineteen county service area.
Insurance & Medicare Enrollment
DCCs are trained as Certified Assistance Counselors (CACs) and will provide help and support with enrollment in the Health Insurance Marketplace and Medicare to patients and residents throughout the service area. For DCC locations, click the link at left.
Prescription Assistance
DCCs will provide assistance with enrollment in prescription assistance programs provided by pharmaceutical companies to patients and residents throughout the service area.
DEEP Classes
DCCs will provide Diabetes Self-Management Education classes utilizing the Diabetes Empowerment Education Program (DEEP) curriculum on behalf of ARHP hospitals throughout the service area.
Patient Navigation
DDCs will provide patients with navigation through the complicated maze of healthcare by assisting with finding resources for health services, prevention, information and local programs.
Cooking Matters
The ARHP will provide Cooking Matters classes empowering families with the skills to shop smarter, use nutrition information to make healthier choices and cook delicious, affordable meals at home. These classes will be provided in Chicot, Desha, Lee, Monroe, Phillips and St. Francis counties.
Project Pink
ARHP and partnering hospitals will provide uninsured and underinsured patients throughout the program's service area with access to free breast healthcare including clinical breast exams, screening and diagnostic mammograms, ultrasounds, biopsy assistance, and breast health education and resources.
ARHP Delta Cares Counselors are certified to provide FREE assistance with enrollment in the Healthcare Marketplace and Medicare. They can also provide prescription assistance, conduct Diabetes Self-Management Education classes and provide additional information and resources to residents throughout our 19-county service area.
