$600K Grant to Expand Mental Health Services in Southeast Arkansas                                                 

The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) awarded a $600,000 grant to the Arkansas Rural Health Partnership (ARHP) for the creation of the ARHP-Outreach Program (ARHP-OP). The three-year project will expand health care service delivery by increasing prevention, education, and access to mental and behavioral health services in rural communities across the southeast Arkansas Delta.

ARHP Awarded Largest 2018 Susan G. Komen Statewide Grant

Arkansas Rural Health Partership (ARHP), a network of ten, non-profit hospitals located throughout Southeast Arkansas, was the recipient of the largest state grant awarded by the Arkansas Affiliate of Susan G. Komen. The $81,199 grant will continue to fund ARHP’s Access Project Pink/Reach Every Woman (APP/REW) program which offers free breast healthcare, education and outreach.  

APP/REW provides uninsured and underinsured women and men of all ages across Southern and Central Arkansas with navigation and easy access to free clinical breast exams, screening and diagnostic mammograms, ultrasounds and biopsy assistance.    (Pictured at left: ARHP CEO Mellie Bridwell (l), Komen Mission Director Karolyn Taylor and Wendy Talbot, ARHP Komen Project Director, at the annual Komen Luncheon in Little Rock).

USDA Grant Provides EMT Training Scholarship Program

Thirteen high school seniors from across Southeast Arkansas have launched a new career path with a first-time training opportunity—free EMT education and certification made possible with funds from a 2016 USDA Delta Health Care Services grant. The EMT Scholarship Training Program is provided by Arkansas Rural Health Partnership’s (ARHP) Health Education for Local Providers (HELP) Expansion Project, also created by the grant.

Arkansas Rural Health Partnership Awarded $750K Opioid Grant

Three-year program will fight opioid crisis in SE Arkansas

Arkansas Rural Health Partnership was one of ten organizations nationwide to receive the HRSA Rural Health Opioid Grant this year.The project was funded for $750,000 to address opioid use disorder in SE Arkansas over the next three years. Read full press release here.

$2.5 Million Awarded to GDAH for Expanded Healthcare in AR Delta

Funds will improve health outcomes through high quality service delivery

The Greater Delta Alliance for Health was awarded $2,565,000 from the HRSA Delta States Rural Develompment Grant Program. It is the largest award ever bestowed on a non-profit, independently-owned hospital network in the state of Arkansas.  Read full press release here...


Komen Grant Awarded to ARHP's Access Project Pink / Reach Every Woman Program

GDAH Awarded $750K USDA Delta Health Care Services Grant
