Chase Encalade was born and raised in Pointe-ala-hache , Louisiana. She received a B.A. in English for Corporate Communications from Christian Brothers University (Memphis, Tn.) and an MPS from the University of Arkansas Clinton School of Public Service. Her interests include rural epidemiology, mental health, and healthcare for veterans.
