ARHP Project Director - Opioid Outreach Program

Cara Cox is the ARHP Project Director for the Opioid Outreach Program (OOP). OOP will expand locally available screening, education, outreach, case management and counseling services for those at-risk or diagnosed with opioid use disorder (OUD). ARHP’s goal is to decrease the opioid-related morbidity and mortality rate in the service area.

Cara graduated from University of Arkansas for Medical Science in 2019 with a Master’s in Health Administration. She graduated from Ouachita Baptist University in 2014 with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology.Cara is a certified application counselor for the Health Insurance Market Place. She is a member of American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and Arkansas Medical Group Management Association (MGMA). Prior to joining ARHP, Cara worked for Congressman Bruce Westerman as grants coordinator and field representative.
